The Masjid Improvement Project was born out of a need to assist masjid leadership, their staff and concerned community members the adequate tools, resources, best practices and skills to help build stronger masjids. As masjids continue to be built in the US and the West it is important for our masjids to be community centers in the truest sense of the word.

Our Muslim communities living in the West are facing incredible challenges that require a supportive community. Most often Muslims’ first place they look for help is the masjids. Not only is our community diverse our challenges are too. Thus, it becomes important for our masjid leadership, staff and even concerned community members to be equipped with the tools, best practices, skills and resources necessary to meet the growing needs of our community.

We pray you can join us as we work together to develop resources, best practices and distribute and promote them as best we can. We need each and every Muslim to step up to this challenge and lend their time, expertise, and energy towards this.
